Just over a century ago, in 1910 to be exact, our beloved Neem Karoli Baba (Maharajji) began his spiritual journey from this very place. The old temple, which had stood for many years, had fallen into disrepair, and the Hanumanji of Vavaniya needed a new home. Inspired by the desire to preserve this priceless part of our Gurudev's legacy, a group of Baba's devotees came together to undertake this noble sewa. Soon, devotees from around the world joined hands to create one of the greatest miracles during the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic. With Maharajji's grace and Siddhi Maa's blessings, today a vast campus stands, featuring two temples—one dedicated to Hanumanji and the other to Maharajji—a yagnashala, a ghat, a beautiful garden, and a three-story ashram.
