ARTivism Virginia
Since 2017, ARTivism Virginia has provided a supported connection between artists and activists fighting the Mountain Valley Pipeline, the now-canceled Atlantic Coast Pipeline, and other dangerous and destructive fracked gas infrastructure in Virginia and the region.
Our work has included campaign strategy, event production, messaging, graphic design, music, fine arts, sculpture, puppetry, film production, and ARTivist workshops.
Campaigns have included "Walking the Line: Into the Heart of Virginia", "This Is A Robbery", the Water Is Life. Protect It. Coalition, the Water Is Life Rally & Concert, "Circle of Protection: Union Hill", "We Are All Union Hill", the Sun Bus, the SUN SiNG Collective, "Circle of Protection: Bent Mountain", our "SUN SiNG iN PLACE" online concerts, STREET SiNG ARTivism Workshops, and the Water Quilt Project.
