We’ve Always Been Here: Gender & Power Across Time explores erased histories of social gender, physical sex, sexual orientation, and power across cultures and centuries. This channel centers Women & 2STIQ+ (Two-Spirit, Trans, Intersex, and Queer+) lives not as modern anomalies, but as enduring realities rooted in kinship, responsibility, and collective belonging.
Drawing from history, philosophy, and decolonial scholarship, this project translates rigorous academic research into accessible public education, working to democratize knowledge too often quarantined within universities and paywalled institutions.
Grounded in accountability & solidarity, and created from a Collective Liberationist perspective, this work learns from Indigenous scholarship and community knowledge without speaking for Indigenous peoples, seeking instead to challenge colonial frameworks and support relational worldviews disrupted by empire.
We love You, Kin. Never forget, God/dess exists within You as You
