After two days of cold rain, most of the Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms have scattered in the wind like a snowstorm of petals. Yet, even in the rain, the tulips remain strong — now at their peak bloom. Once again this year, we have the chance to see new varieties.

The cherry blossom relay is moving on to its next stage.
While the Somei Yoshino blossoms have already passed their peak and are now turning into fluttering petals in the wind, the next wave is beginning. Yaezakura, the double-flowered cherry trees, are now starting to bloom one after another — some are already in full bloom.

２日間冷たい雨が降り続いた後、ソメイヨシノのほとんどは花びらの吹雪のように風に吹かれて散ってしまいました。しかし、雨の中でもチューリップは力強く咲き続け、今まさに満開を迎えています。
