Natya Samrat Foundation is a Mumbai-based theatre
group founded in 2024 by Pawan Uttam, along with
Bharat Jha, Kavin Dave, Manoj Cherian, Nitin Bhardwaj,
Pavitra Sarkar, Nishi Doshi, Swapnil Shrirao, Yudhvir
Dahiya, Raghav Dutt, and Varenyam. Standing as a
beacon of innovation in Mumbai's vibrant theatre
landscape, the foundation is dedicated to promoting
original writing and revitalizing our cultural heritage.
Our team of theatre activists comprises both seasoned
professionals with 20-25 years of experience in
meaningful theatre and fresh, young minds. They have
showcased their talents across the globe at different
times and at prestigious theatre festivals. Our mission is
to explore uncharted territories in the world of theatre,
pushing the boundaries of traditional forms and
creating captivating narratives that resonate with
