Sweet Hiccup has his full mouth dental extraction surgery tomorrow 🥺💛

The kids even made him a little note for his carrier telling him how much we love him. He has no idea what’s coming, but we’re going to make his recovery as cozy and comfortable as possible.

I put together an Amazon list of everything we’re using for his recovery, soft foods, heating pad, waterproof blankets, scale, lickable treats, all of it.

💧 Hiccup Surgery Update 🤍

Hiccup has his surgery this Friday, and we’re focusing on keeping his recovery space calm and supportive.

HomerunPET is sending him their wireless stainless steel water fountain to help support his hydration after surgery. 🤍 Hiccup Update

Last night we had to take Hiccup to the emergency vet due to a sudden flare of severe stomatitis. It was scary, but after treatment he perked up and is resting comfortably today.

We’re focused on keeping his world calm and low-stress while we figure out next steps so he can eventually live without pain.
