I make documentaries about land and animals that got written off, and what happened after somebody gave them another shot.

Most of it is rewilding. Wolves put back into a valley they'd been gone from. Bison turned loose on prairie that sat empty for generations. An old dam torn out and salmon working their way upriver again. Sometimes it goes the other way and I'm following an invasive species that took over until something native started eating it.

I read the studies and the follow ups, because the interesting part is what the place looks like years later.
