Cloud Chief is the music project of Chayen Wittmer, producer, songwriter and musician from Venlo, Netherlands, born in 1991. Raised on jazz records, soul and late-night jam sessions, music was always there.

As a teenager he built hip-hop beats in his bedroom. No training, just obsession and time. Those productions live on as NfinityBeats and later FamezBeats.

He returned during COVID from a small attic studio. Cloud Chief launched in 2022, a natural evolution of everything before.

The sound lives between boom bap and blues. Warm, live-played instruments through sample-based production. Emotion over precision. Music that breathes.

AI is used as an instrument. Lyrics handwritten; voice built from Chayen's own and performed through AI, the way a producer plays any other instrument.
