Nature Photographer, Birder, Michigan Osprey Member, Social Media Specialist, Former Oakland Audubon Society Board Member. I volunteer as a Skywarn Severe Weather Spotter for the National Weather Service. My finest accomplishment is my family and being a Wife of 37 years, Mom to our 33 year old daughter, and Chief Human to a handsome, bouncy, and energetic Chocolate Labrador Retriever named Bailey. In 2014, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent chemotherapy, radiation therapy, a mastectomy, and reconstruction surgeries. My life is a celebration of surviving breast cancer with the loving support of my husband, daughter and extended family. I am grateful to my doctors. Their skill and compassion provided the pathway to my survival. I am blessed beyond words to be able to continue to enjoy the Michigan outdoors. When not working with my husband - a lawyer, you would likely find me exploring the woods and waters of the great state of Michigan. Just Go Birding!
