For the past 10 years, I've designed systems of sounds for some of the largest brands in the world. Everything from the sounds you hear in streaming platforms, payment sounds for banks, sounds for products, medical devices, and sounds for the future of transportation. What always amazed me is there aren't any standards for what a sound means.
I founded Iconic Sonic to bring standards to the world of sound design to (hopefully) make the world a little more harmonious for us all.
