Concern for the Girl Child
At CGC we have a clear purpose to make an impact on the lives of the most vulnerable and destitute girls in our areas of operation. We want to make sure, that these girls are given a holistic service that will in turn translate into confident, protected, empowered, young girls that will also make a difference in the lives of their families and communities. For the past 20 years we have directly impacted over 40,000 girls and their communities through providing access to education, health information and safe and clean water.
We have as well empowered the communities to ensure that the
rights of children are put into consideration at all levels by strengthening community and school-based child protection structures as a sustainable approach to protection for children, increasing awareness by all children and adults in the target communities of their role in protecting children.
