TNX — Love Never Dies

1. Love Never Dies — is it Intro to the album? I love it! Really rear to see tracks like that in albums those days) Excited to see if this intro mix all melodies from next songs)))

2. I Need You — I’ve already listened to this song. It was my first encounter with this group. Really my coup of tea) Not so hip-hop song as they can produce, but for some reason I’m more on rap side here.

3. Love or Die — another song that I knew. Can be my favorite from this album or even over all from them. That’s all I gonna say)

4. Wasn’t Ready — feels like this album so different from debut one) Different color of those boys. I was just listening to album, not checking lyrics, but for sind reason this song touched me. I obviously understood only English lines, but they was so relatable… I love this song. And vocal is wonderful here.

5. Slingshot — thus sing was recommended as another example of their rap, so I low key knew what to expect. Back to hip-hop that they are masters of apparently) Looks like they enjoy do more hip-hop album and then add ballad here and do more vocal/lyrical album with one really strong hip-hop song) I love it!

6. DDA DDA DDA (Short Ver.) — (what’s with this type of names and Koreans?😃). This song is nice to finish this album, though I thought it is kinda pale after Slingshot. But this is just that song was really strong, so it is kinda hard to pay much attention to more ballad one right after)

So, debut album of new group for me — TNX ‘Way Up’

1. We On — really cool song! Might be my favorite from this album? Really early to make this conclusion, but I just really love it. Didn’t expect it low key. This song is real hip-hop on my opinion. I love the beat and love that this song still have clear vocal in it)

2. 180 sec — upbeat song. I like how for now every song have their own color) I’m in love the rhythm here — make me wanna move) Vocal again) Love the low key unexpected change in melody in choir part)

3. Move — title) Third MV that I watched. This time I was more on vocal part. Maybe only gray rapper on second minute was cause to stole my whole attention from vocalist))) MV is perfect for debut — there is dances, solo parts and background that interesting but not stolen while attention from artist)

4. Burst Up — after “we on” and “180 sec” I feel like it was okay sing, but not enough fire until rap appear) Rap is fire again)

5. Your Favorite Melody — from the name I’ve expected ballad (and it was recommended before) and I wasn’t wrong. This is really nice way to finish album) Show their another color) This can be my another favorite song from this album which shows my bipolarity😅

Taeyang — Down to Earth
(He really is btw☺️)

1. VIBE (feat. Jimin of BTS)
First song that we’ve got. Can we call it prerelease if it was more than 3 months? I was really excited for that in January (btw my brother crashed his car few days after; I send him this MV (like “you saw it?”) and he answered me with photo of his crashed car😅; now he (me+mom+him) bought new one). Back to song: it was fresh, not what I’ve expected. Taeyang and Jimin worked perfectly together. It was nice view. They both have sweet voices) And they kinda same kind in my eyes, cause of their passion to dance)
So song was really good and fresh and different for Taeyang) Trendy)

2. Shoong! (feat. Lisa of BLACKPINK)
Another exiting collab for our collaborative king (peace maker) Taeyang. Again it was different sound from what I’ve expected. Slower and softer considering this two dancing machine who can do excellent hiphop song. But I obviously love the sound. Fresh and trendy, I enjoyed beat/rhythm in this two song a lot.
And Lisa is hot. Her moves and soft voice is top tier. I love this side of her.

3. Seed
That is what I love about Taeyang. He can do incredibly soft and touching songs. Just piano and his voice and you mesmerized. Lyrics is so deep here, glad he got pretty simple music here. Simple cause it is mostly piano, but piano is really strong and deep instrument in terms of sound. It easily can top voice, but here was perfect balance between it and Taeyang. It can be my No.1 song in this album.
And MV was simply perfect)

4. Reason
If I’m not mistaken — fully Korean song. Little softer than Seed (probably cause structure of music here completely different — more complicated, but much softer than simple piano), and I love that for now all songs is drafting in terms of sound and mood. It is simply have brighter mood for me.
Btw I like little saxophone 🎷 (?) in the middle)

5. Inspiration (feat. Beenzino)
First 7 second fooled me, I thought “oh, another slow song” and then beat appeared😅 Nice little change to previous songs sounds. I love chorus part!
Beenzino part is really cool. I think I mostly know of him cause of his collaboration work. But I really enjoy his flow.

6. Nightfall (feat. Bryan Chase)
Maybe in terms of vocal this song will get honorable second place after Seed. Don’t think I’ve heard of Bryan. I low key expected him to be a rapper, but I was pleasantly wrong) That’s all I gonna say)

I was expecting to see MV (why though?😅), there is obviously no MV, but song is such mine thing! Love everything that Mark does back in USA) This song is kinda give me 2010 vibe (again: why? I don’t know. Maybe I was listening to such kind of song back then). A little rocky, kinda sad and deep bop)
