1. VIBE (feat. Jimin of BTS) First song that we’ve got. Can we call it prerelease if it was more than 3 months? I was really excited for that in January (btw my brother crashed his car few days after; I send him this MV (like “you saw it?”) and he answered me with photo of his crashed car😅; now he (me+mom+him) bought new one). Back to song: it was fresh, not what I’ve expected. Taeyang and Jimin worked perfectly together. It was nice view. They both have sweet voices) And they kinda same kind in my eyes, cause of their passion to dance) So song was really good and fresh and different for Taeyang) Trendy)
2. Shoong! (feat. Lisa of BLACKPINK) Another exiting collab for our collaborative king (peace maker) Taeyang. Again it was different sound from what I’ve expected. Slower and softer considering this two dancing machine who can do excellent hiphop song. But I obviously love the sound. Fresh and trendy, I enjoyed beat/rhythm in this two song a lot. And Lisa is hot. Her moves and soft voice is top tier. I love this side of her.
3. Seed That is what I love about Taeyang. He can do incredibly soft and touching songs. Just piano and his voice and you mesmerized. Lyrics is so deep here, glad he got pretty simple music here. Simple cause it is mostly piano, but piano is really strong and deep instrument in terms of sound. It easily can top voice, but here was perfect balance between it and Taeyang. It can be my No.1 song in this album. And MV was simply perfect)
4. Reason If I’m not mistaken — fully Korean song. Little softer than Seed (probably cause structure of music here completely different — more complicated, but much softer than simple piano), and I love that for now all songs is drafting in terms of sound and mood. It is simply have brighter mood for me. Btw I like little saxophone 🎷 (?) in the middle)
5. Inspiration (feat. Beenzino) First 7 second fooled me, I thought “oh, another slow song” and then beat appeared😅 Nice little change to previous songs sounds. I love chorus part! Beenzino part is really cool. I think I mostly know of him cause of his collaboration work. But I really enjoy his flow.
6. Nightfall (feat. Bryan Chase) Maybe in terms of vocal this song will get honorable second place after Seed. Don’t think I’ve heard of Bryan. I low key expected him to be a rapper, but I was pleasantly wrong) That’s all I gonna say)
