Hi, my name is Tom. I'm a young(ish) guy living in the UK who has developed a passion for taking control of my personal finance situation. I started down this road back in 2016 when I put together an excel spreadsheet to see how much I was spending on drinking, eating out and plenty of other things. The result was shocking. At that point in my life, I was in debt and spending well beyond my means, it was then that I decided to grab life by the scruff of the neck and make a change.

I decided to start this channel to document my personal finance journey in the hope that I can help other people who are in the same situation that I found myself in 2016. I also want to make content from a UK point of view as most personal finance content on Youtube is US based and that can make us in the UK feel left out.
