Hi there, polygonvariable here, I upload short animations or time-lapse made in Blender usually non-photorealistic renders, and sometimes game development vlogs.
I saw a post on Reddit about malware being spread through .blend files. One way to protect yourself is to disable 'Auto Run Python Scripts' in Blender's preferences. This prevents scripts from automatically running when you open a file and blender will prompt if you want to run the script or not.
I wasn't fully satisfied with the line art method from my previous videoโit was resource-intensive and required mesh deform modifiers, which wasn't ideal.
This new method allows direct editing of the main mesh to generate accurate line art. While it can be time-consuming, it avoids the drawbacks of the previous approach. Itโs similar in concept but involves vertex group transfer for better results.
