To those who are "Cinephiles”,
There is no greater field of mass consumption than that of "western cinema” & no greater propagator of propaganda.
The "WØke” which dominates your resentment today was getting it’s seed planted in the cinema of 50s,60s,70s and throughout but just in a more subtle way.
I like to think that there has never been till date any true western film ever made, There are some attempts for sure but none that match the greatness of our culture & civilization.
So rather than collecting those shiny c@pitalistic discs of yours, read something about yourself, where you come from.
Remember that those old movies that you enjoy as an antidote to modern films are just a more clever, subtler & repressed versions of the idea that you see dominating today.
Again i say there have never been any true European films ever made. This Brilliant medium of film which combines imagery & sound has till date not been redeemed to it’s truest potential & that is something to be changed for sure.
The Simple Answer to why films today are way more trashy than in the past is simply because the films of today are "Unrooted” & "Uncultured” films. Even a rom-com from the 50s was more cultured than "The Odyssey” which is being produced today.

The video & channel in the image attatched also delves into the same issue.

NEW-AGE

This is where the name of this channel "New-Age” comes from :

The New Age: A Weekly Review of Politics, Literature and Art was a British weekly magazine (1894–1938), credited as a major influence on literature and the arts during its heyday from 1907 to 1922, when it was edited by Alfred Richard Orage. It published work by many of the chief political commentators of the day.

Figures such as Oscar levy, Anthony Ludovici and several other key intellectuals and ideologists were writting through this service. The Writings delved deep into the political applications of philosophy and general writings on Art. This service "The New Age” came in pretty handy to the new figures looking to burst their way onto the mainstage for philosophical and political undertakings.
