Black Light Smoke is the electronic music moniker of Jordan Lieb - producer, songwriter, and Emmy Award winning film and TV composer. A Chicago native, Black Light Smoke has been producing dance records across genres for almost two decades.
From Lovework and Firefly on Scissor & Thread Records (2010), to Control on Tiga’s Turbo Recordings (2025), Black Light Smoke’s sound spans from Deep House, Techno, EBM and Post Punk. In 2020 he launched his own label Death Decay Magic, featuring artists like Cardopusher, Happy707 and The Hacker.
Black Light Smoke has performed his unique live set around the globe, including Fabric in London, Robot Heart, Boiler Room, the BPM festival, and in many cities across North America.
