Pilates allows you to move your spine before or after 8h of sitting in the office. Those exercises will make you move in all plane of motions, decompressing your spine and strengthening your torso muscle aka core that holds your spine.
So if you struggle with back pain or stiffness Pilates is a great place to start. Doing just few mat exercises allows you to feel much better and over time stronger, leaving you pain free.
