The Aupaba Institute is a non-governmental, non-profit organization founded by members of civil society who work interdisciplinary and are oriented towards a more prosperous, just, and conscious future. Aupaba, originating from the Tupi-Guarani language, expresses the meaning of "Land of Origin," symbolizing our vision of the ideal social, environmental, and cultural improvement of the territory.
For us, tourism goes beyond economic considerations. It is a tool for transformation and a path to preserve cultures, value skills, improve lives, and protect our precious biomes. Additionally, tourism plays a fundamental role in education, social well-being, and the promotion of diversity and inclusion, acting as a powerful vehicle for messages of peace and tolerance.
