Born in Belo Horizonte, Well Figuerê is a lyricist, composer, songwriter, instrumentalist, musical producer, and arranger who brings in his work an intimate confluence between lyrics and music, with the main resource being voice and guitar. He has been professionally active since 2014 and presents in different formats, from solo performances (voice and guitar) to being accompanied by a band (Well e Os Últimos). A representative of popular music, his compositions blend various styles and genres, not conceptually adhering to any one and all. He draws significant sonic influences from samba, bossa nova, Brazilian Popular Music (MPB), jazz, forró, reggae, pop, rock, baião, funk-soul, classical music, and many other ways/forms/manners of expressing himself musically.
