Dr Ankit Gupta (Director & Head Cardiology @OPCH)
Dr. Ankit Gupta’s appointment as Director & Head of OPCH Lucknow reflects his outstanding contribution to advanced cardiac care. Formerly an Assistant Professor at AIIMS Rbl , he has been a founding faculty member since June 2022 and played a key role in establishing comprehensive cardiology services, including OPD, IPD, and Cath Lab operations. Over the past three years, he has conducted more than 50,000 outpatient consultations, managed over 10,000 cardiac admissions, and performed over 5,000 invasive cardiac procedures. His expertise spans primary PCI, complex CTO interventions, device implantations, pediatric cardiac care, heart failure management. A committed academician, Dr. Gupta has organized high-impact national and international workshops and served as faculty at leading global cardiology conferences. His excellence was recognized with the Best Young Cardiologist Award at CIC 2025, Lucknow.
