Be registered. Be informed. But always call 999 in an emergency.
Until October 2025, a central database for emergency bleed control kits in the UK did not exist.
That’s why Bleed Map was launched by The National Bleed Kit Network, a charity dedicated to registering and mapping emergency bleed control kits.
The British Heart Foundation’s national database The Circuit is utilised by all NHS Ambulance Services to signpost defibrillators to 999 callers.
Bleed Map is the equivalent for bleed control kits - critical in improving access to bleed kits in medical emergencies, closing the care gap and saving lives.
