Quarry comes from nowhere remarkable. A small village on the outskirts of Tring. Neighbouring Aylesbury where he attended school was once being described as the most statistically average town in the UK. His commitment to music has been life long, he can hardly be blamed for dreaming of a way out, after all the present is gainful employment at a sand quarry just outside of Dunstable but the future is all about boundless possibilities. Incidentally, his current vocation is the inspiration behind his artist project.
Quarry is the omniscient narrator of everyday moments. “I do kind of want to capture the imagination of the disaffected people of the world.” This pursuit is an endless journey as he goes on to explain: “I grew up searching for that magic. Those first little moments of a bigger picture that you do not see in your day-to-day life. Big in an idea and small in a particular instance. I’m trying to share the truth of who I am in the hope that someone else will connect with it.”
