This is a video journal about a life seasoned with adversity and ambition. It's where I reflect on the changing sense of self that comes from living in an ever changing story, a body under constant negotiation with Multiple Sclerosis, and the quiet, ongoing work I'm doing of being honest about who and how I am as a woman late diagnosed with autism.

I share my journey because sometimes it's easier to give yourself permission to tell your story once you've watched someone else tell theirs, and I offer these weekly reflections as an opportunity to witness life through Lita's Lens.

Lita's Lens

Woke up thinking about masking this morning, and flooded with memories of ways I was encouraged to do so, without even knowing that that's what it was. I'm going to chew on the thoughts some more and possibly video journal about it this weekend. While I was reflecting, I looked down at Crue and saw a reflection of what I meant. I have delayed her grooming so long that you can't really see her, her face, eyes and essence are completely hidden, as if wearing a mask. Feels like a message.
