Welcome to ERWINVENTURES — where a 65-year-old retired Chief Marine Engineer finally jumps ship and discovers that life on land is just as wild as life at sea… minus the engine alarms.
After decades sailing across oceans and keeping giant ships alive, I now explore highways, mountains, islands, and anywhere my wheels (and curiosity) take me. Expect road trips, travel mishaps, car tinkering, DIY projects, and a few sea stories that may or may not involve things catching fire.
I’m basically on a permanent “shore leave,” but with a camera.
So hop aboard—there are no muster drills, no night watches, and definitely no oily engine rooms. Just adventures, laughs, and the occasional project that I swear should only take 5 minutes.
