American artist Gregory Siff is best known for his distinct emotive style that merges abstraction, pop and action painting. By using ink, acrylic and spray-paint, his hand-style creates iconic “element storyboards” with each image representing an emotional or creative state of mind. Working in a purposeful yet playful manor, his work exhibits meaning that is literal yet open for interpretation of nostalgia and childhood. His works have been included in MoMA PS1’s “Rockaway!”,“Vans Custom Culture” at the Whitney Museum of American Art and in luxury fashion house Saint Laurent’s F/W 2018 Ready to Wear Line. Most Recently, Gregory completed his residency at CASS Contemporary for his latest exhibition, Evidence of Life, in Tampa. This show included artworks that were unveiled at the Tampa Museum of Art during his lectures about the importance of artist residencies and the impact of art on our collective culture.
