“You can’t solve a problem with the same level of thinking that created it,” as Einstein once said.

Ecoseva Institute provides environmental education and engagement through the spirit of stewardship, revitalisation, and interconnection.

Project:
Himalayas to Sea, Plastic Free is a plastic pollution education project supported through a National Geographic Explorers Grant, and is a compilation on zero waste and plastic reduction initiatives across the Himalayas, in India and Nepal. This project aims to bring awareness to the whole cycle of plastic pollution, from upstream mountain flows into downstream marine impacts, and focuses on the neglected upstream social dimension of behavioral shifts to minimize plastic inputs into the environment. This project supports the network of existing waste champions in the region, and is an effort to not only strengthen their work, but build community and inspire similar community-led projects in the region and world.
