Melee
Melee is a California-based producer who's been breaking forgotten records and putting them back together (wrong) since 2003. Equal parts Chicago basement and Paris dancefloor, the project lives somewhere between DJ Sneak's filter workouts, Paul Johnson's low-end funk, and the "why not?" sample logic of a 2ManyDJs set — disco, boogie, garage, proto, acid. If it's in the crate, it plays.
