Howdy Folks, I hate to tell you this but with several unforeseen events this past week, I was not able to film a video for this Friday. If all goes well I will have two for next week. My apologies. I pray you are all doing well!

Howdy Folks! To My Subscribers and Primarily My Few Faithful..... The past several months have been insanely busy. In addition to my "normal" work load, I have been dealing with a lot additional things. Some of these things have been laborious and not so enjoyable, while others have been enjoyable yet frustratingly time consuming. A few of the later items are Restoring two Flint Lock Muskets, Remodeling portions of my house to include my new studio, and we have added GOATS to our livestock menagerie. Everything has presented a lot of unforeseen challenges and has taken far longer to complete than expected and continue at a snails pace. All of these items has severely affected the time I can devote to the channel.
Recently I posted a "price comparison/then and now" video that has accumulated 107.6k views, 841 comments, and has increased my subscribership by 901 subscribers. While all of this is "Absolutely Fantastic", it is also completely overwhelming. I have been reading the comments periodically for 3 weeks now and I have barely made a dent. I need at least two more of me to adequately deal with all that is on my plate. So, please accept my apologies for the lack of postings and replies.
In particular, I deeply miss corresponding with my few faithful (both in and out of the comments). I know that this is just another spike and things will slow back down to my 100+ views per video (as appose to the recent 100k+). As the channel slows back down and my projects are slowly completed, I look forward to getting back to posting and replying as normal.
Thank you all so very much for your prayers, support, patience, friendship, and comments throughout the years! May God Bless You And Keep You!
Now, Back To Work.....

Howdy Folks, Sorry for not posting a video Friday. Last Saturday (2/8/25) I contracted some manner of plague. I appear to be over the worst of it but I'm still feeling very weak. As soon as I'm back on my feet, I'll resume filming and posting. It's always something.....

Howdy Folks, Just a quick question... "IF" Zuckerberg, were to officially change most of his "covid" era "Government Manipulated" Policies. And turns an abrupt 180. I "would" consider returning to the Facebook platform "ONLY" if it would permit better sharing within the Boonedockery Community.
There are so many of you that can share so much amazing information, photos, videos, etc... that you cannot on the comments of YouTube, that you could on Facebook. I find this very sad.
The question is, Do You Think This Would Be A Positive Thing, And Would You Participate In Contributing To The Boonedockery Community?
Other than YouTube, I canceled every one of my social media accounts after the 2020 "election". I have no problem living the rest of my days without them. However, The ability for you to share your wisdom, knowledge, photos, skills, with the Boonedockery FAMILY/community seems very appealing. Please share your thoughts good, bad, or indifferent. However, if Zuck doesn't straighten his Empire up, I won't return.

Howdy Folks, I know I've not gotten to the comments in a while and I apologize for that. I've got a lot of things that have necessitated a lot of my time. I've been forced to either film, edit, and post new content or reply to comments. I've chosen to add more content for now. I will get to your comments (which is honestly my favorite part of this YouTube thang) ASAP. I Hope you've enjoyed my nostalgic trip through surplus memory lane. It's been almost therapeutic for me. God's Blessings Be With You All! I Love And Appreciate You More Than I Can Say...

Howdy Folks, it is with a very heavy heart that I share with you the passing of the family member I have mentioned. It was my Mother-in-law. We took her in about a year and a half ago after a very serious issue which left her debilitated to the point she needed constant care. My wife quit her job to take care of her which was very difficult financially (but The Lord always provided what we needed). Since she has lived with us, she has been in and out of the hospital nearly dying each time. Each time we brought her home, she grew weaker. If you noticed I haven't posted very many camping videos. Due to her balance issues she was prone to falling and I was the only one strong enough to pick her up. Due to this I always had to be near by and within cell phone service.
The Lord Call Her Home Friday morning. During the time she lived with us, we grew very close I and I learned so much about her that I never knew before. We enjoyed watching Gun Smoke and The Andy Griffith Show. Listening to music from the 60s and 70s. During family gatherings, she always participated in playing games with us and always did very well, often winning the games we played,
Though so many folks prayed daily for her recovery with this last hospital stay, The Lord needed her to be with him. It's going to be a difficult period of mourning and learning how to conduct our daily lives now without her.
Unfortunately, you'll start seeing more of me and in more camping and multi-day video shoots. It's been very odd not having our daily routine over the past three weeks. Even more so now.
Folks, Love with all your heart. Let petty issues dissolve. Hug more, frown less, and cherish the time you have right now with your loved ones. Regret is a painful emotion that sometimes never leaves us. I feel we did the very best we could do with/for her, so I feel no regrets with her. I just miss her.
Thank you for the prayers, the support, and fellowship. I love and appreciate all of you so very much. God Bless You All.

Howdy Folks, You may have noticed there wasn't a video posted today. I have been at a hospital everyday since Monday morning with a family member. Although the condition is very serious, the prognosis is hopeful. There is a long road ahead. I'll get back to filming as soon as I can. Any and all prayers are greatly appreciated. Much Love and Gods Blessings be upon you all!

Howdy Folks! My next video will post Friday 6/28. It will focus on using a Bivy-Bag as a primary shelter for your B.O.B. or G.H.B. . In the video you will see a UCP USGI Sleep System Bivy that I RIT Dyed. YES! You can actually RIT Dye Goretex! Using the exact same technique I used to dye all the UCP Packs And Pouches I did for past videos. I thought it turned out great and decided to show you some photos as a preview for the video.

Howdy Folks, Since I posted my "How To" Multicamesque Rattle-can video. I have had multitudes of comments about using the same technique on firearms. In case you are not aware of them, YouTube has very strike, ever changing policies concerning firearms and free speech. That is why I have not posted a step-by-step video about painting firearms with a Multicamesque pattern. I have no idea how so many channels can post "gun videos" without being punished by the YouTube censorship overlords. I don't know if their policies pertain to the community section or not, but I guess I'll find out soon.
Years ago, I painted my SOCOM-16 stock with tape stencils I cut myself. I thought it turned out okay. The last picture you can see it compared to my latest paint job and a Hydro-Dipped Shotgun.
The latest project is a 95% painted AR Pistol using Freedom Stencils precut vinyl stencils. With the exception of not having the correct Multicam colors I think it turned out okay.
Let me know what you think....

As of now I have a window of opportunity to do some filming (before the next catastrophe arises😉🙂). I have a few videos I could produce fairly quickly. What "general" topic would you like to see most?
