Howdy Folks, it is with a very heavy heart that I share with you the passing of the family member I have mentioned. It was my Mother-in-law. We took her in about a year and a half ago after a very serious issue which left her debilitated to the point she needed constant care. My wife quit her job to take care of her which was very difficult financially (but The Lord always provided what we needed). Since she has lived with us, she has been in and out of the hospital nearly dying each time. Each time we brought her home, she grew weaker. If you noticed I haven't posted very many camping videos. Due to her balance issues she was prone to falling and I was the only one strong enough to pick her up. Due to this I always had to be near by and within cell phone service.
The Lord Call Her Home Friday morning. During the time she lived with us, we grew very close I and I learned so much about her that I never knew before. We enjoyed watching Gun Smoke and The Andy Griffith Show. Listening to music from the 60s and 70s. During family gatherings, she always participated in playing games with us and always did very well, often winning the games we played,
Though so many folks prayed daily for her recovery with this last hospital stay, The Lord needed her to be with him. It's going to be a difficult period of mourning and learning how to conduct our daily lives now without her.
Unfortunately, you'll start seeing more of me and in more camping and multi-day video shoots. It's been very odd not having our daily routine over the past three weeks. Even more so now.
Folks, Love with all your heart. Let petty issues dissolve. Hug more, frown less, and cherish the time you have right now with your loved ones. Regret is a painful emotion that sometimes never leaves us. I feel we did the very best we could do with/for her, so I feel no regrets with her. I just miss her.
Thank you for the prayers, the support, and fellowship. I love and appreciate all of you so very much. God Bless You All.
