Now part-2 where I'll be debunking any arguments against it.
A very popular "debunk" to this scaling is that "Well, we can see the attack traveling meaning it is not instanteous/infinite speed."
My response: Well, yes and no. In the first scan, where we can see the dimension slash moving horizontally is where we see the attack traveling. On the contrary, in the second scan, where Empty Void targets directly at Saitama, it appears to have arrived instantly. (Which agains, supports the argument for infinite speed.) What exactly im trying to say here is that the attack indeed ignores distance and arrives at instaneous speed to the point where Empty Void is targeting his dimension slash at. But probably not when its traveling horizontally like we've seen previously with all the dimension slashes.
Now you may have some questions like "Why would Empty void do that when can straight up just completely annihalate them by targeting the spot where they currently are?" The answer is simple, he doesnt want to. Empty void himself accepts this by saying "theres no longer any reason to let you live" which does mean that he wasn't actually trying to kill anyone. Also proven by the fact that he was trying to go against God and only wanted to make Sonic and Flashy flash God's avatar.
This also debunks another popular argument of "flashy flash dodged the attack". And flashy flash was not able to dodge the attack anyways, he was simply aware of what Empty Void is going to do and Empty Void wanted to target sonic with it not flashy flash who was also saved by Blast.
Another debunk that maybe be made later on: "immeasurable speed characters can time travel but Saitama canno-" Well yes he can. If you wannna interpret it that way and also the popular argument recently of "hax in Saitama's case is basically his physical capabilities"
Today I'll be proving how Saitama has immeasurable speed. And also debunk any possible arguments against it in the next post. Note- This is based over the assumption that chapters like 209, 211 and etc aren't going to be retconned (which although is highly likely) since we have no information saying that.
Ok, so first, the most commonly used one. Blast's statement of Empty Void's dimension slash ignoring distance. Aka granting it infinite speed.
Next up, Saitama catches the same attack which was just now stated to be infinite speed. - How does it grant immeasurable speed? Simply put, the definition of immeasurable speed is to be so fast that your speed cannot be measured using the normal speed formula of D/T. Any character with immeasurable speed can basically just move through time at will. Now, onto the main question. As we just proved that the dimension slash has infinite speed meaning it will take 0 time to travel. Saitama was able to be faster than this meaning he basically just reacted in negative time, aka, moving through time which qualifies you for immeasurable speed.
- Dimensional scaling is stupid and wrong heres why: Dimensional Scaling is not a valid measure of power, People who use it are using artifacts of geometry to inflate power levels.
Dimensional scaling became popular when people realized they fan invoke this nonsense to claim why their favorite character doesn’t get haxstomped by someone weaker and/or faster than them.
Energy, is scalor, and independent of dimensions. Infinite energy is the same in all dimensioned space. 1D, 2D, 3D, 7D, 100D. It’s the same. The notion that you need more energy to destroy a 9D space than you do for a 8D space isn’t true.
I believe this comes from the idea that a 3D cube has uncountably infinite 2D square cross sections, and a 4D cube has uncountably infinite 3D cross sections. However, this is geometrical artifact. It doesn’t really mean anything. A 4D cube and a 12D cube have an equal number of points, and an equal number of 2D cross sections , and an equal number of 3D cross sections.
If a character can destroy all the points in a 3D space, then they can destroy all the points in a 100D space.
There is no reason to make dimensionality a factor of power. It can be a factor of range as being able to move in an extra dimension is impressive and useful.
Note: Dimensional scaling can work in some verses if directly confirmed in the series.
Reason for Murata to redraw the entire Arc. TL;DR :- Basically, ONE saw that the story isnt aligning with the future events that he had planned and were supposed to happen and would become contradictory later on so he decides to rewrite the arc and asks Murata to redraw again.

Saitama vs Cosmic Garou + Blast + Empty Void + Boros
How far would they push Saitama?
