I finally read all the comments on the last video (sorry it took so long.)

One point that got brought up a few times (both jokingly and in earnest) was piracy as a solution to corporations like CR being bad to their workers and consumers.

While piracy is definitely going to (continue to) happen as a result of CR putting out a worse product, it's not how I hope the problem is solved.

Can fans make our own subs and dubs?--absolutely. We've done it before. Will the JP companies like that? NO. If piracy becomes the norm for fans, you can bet the JP-side will crack down heavily on that.

(*edit: also, yeah, idk how to disable the AI summary at the bottoms of videos...I'm not sure it's possible? I did disable AI-dubbing, though. You can disable AI stuff on your end, depending on what browser you use.)

y'all are so overwhelmingly nice I've decided to make videos here again (sparingly! when I have the time and brainspace.) hoping to have something up before xmas, but I make no promises...

Soooo, thanks for the avalanche of support! Sorry I haven't read all the comments...there's so many😭

As some of you may have figured out, this channel is on hiatus. Right after I made the Bojack Horseman video, I got hired by not one, but TWO publishing houses to translate light novels and manga, so I've been very busy over the past few years with that and writing my own novel series as well, which I'm going to start publishing next year! (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah)


I may upload here again (I do have a couple ideas that have been floating around), but I really can't promise anything soon. In the meantime, go watch the other videos in the library that I kept public. most of them are only moderately-cringe.
