The NEW MODEL Band has begun its way in the middle of the 2000. But the band, as we know it today, is considered to be born in 2007. By that time, having experienced many different musical influences and actively experimenting with the style, the musicians had been able to create their own unique sound. Today the compositions of NEW MODEL band are characterized by the peculiar cool minimalistic sound, strong straight-line drum-section, compensated by the emotional guitars and strong vocal. There is not any extra sound and the arrangements are simply refined. Electronics and effects are used only when it's necessary. Russian texts are not some simple banal phrases. They often contain disturbing and rather pessimistic messages with hidden implications comprehensible for the thinking public. There is a place for romantic mood, deep spiritual pain and healthy cynicism there. Clear rhythmical forms, wandering guitar sounds and penetrating fatal intonations of the vocalist.
