I explain the basics of rock guitar soloing in the simplest possible way !!! It all boils down to having a voacabulary of basic licks .... just an handful .... my Four Essential Licks are a great place to start !! What I stress here is not just muscle memory .... oh no !!! Each lick lasts a specific length of time .... and directly addresses the chords being played behind the lick .... it sounds complex .... but it's actually simple !!
I can show you how to lock your licks into a set of chord chnges .... and how to get lots of mileage out of a few licks ..... simply by knowing the right note to end the lick on !!! If you can't string together four basic licks without a trainwreck .... then my channel is for you !!!
