Well Fed Soul. We live in a day where our senses and appetites are OVER-appealed to!! Everything we put in our mouth or before our eyes is designed to hook us and keep us coming back. Every website you visit has been AB tested to see which shade of blue is most appealing to the audience. Our brains are fried and overstimulated. Its No Wonder the Bible can't keep our attention. Our devotions (when we have them) are more like smelling or licking a meal than really eating! In this context many Christians and whole churches have gone astray...going for what appeals to them rather than learning to form their appetites on God IN HIS WORD. Eyes on the Text is a channel devoted to devouring God in his word...directly. I encourage people to read the Bible in ways that gets it past the nose and tastebuds and into the blood stream!
