What is Rusty Lake?
It's an indie video game series penetrated through and through with puzzles, a mysterious atmosphere and a story in the best tradition of David Lynch. That is a bit dark, very cryptic and exceptionally intriguing.
Unlike many who studied this story I'm not going to limit myself with a single point of view. I will present every worthwhile interpretation and launch a long-term discussion with you.

Hey everyone alive!
I am sorry. I tried to speedrun the video production today and failed in quality control. A whole section was desynchronised after I cut out a huge brain fart. Maybe last time I wouldn't care but today I've got an early access straight from the Rusty Lake team. So here we are.
The desync is no more. The sound quality overall is still rather lacking but that's a compromise for choosing to freely breathe instead of locking myself into my make-shift recording Nest. However good news, I decide to add some things I didn't have time to render under the deadline I imposed on myself. Notably the mascot.
Enjoy the demo and the video and remember: question everything in Rusty Lake!

Alright everyone alive! We have reached 1500 subscribers.
The number isn't particularly round but the circumstances are rather special. The spike of newcomers of the last few days (btw, welcome) is due to @flawedpeacock having mentioned me in his recent Rusty Lake video.
As I always do, I wrote a huge comment in response to different takes on the lore. I call such comments "my 2 thousand cents". They are about things I agree with and about things I don't, all in attempt to launch The Discussion.
Without The Discussion we theorists would stay in our info bubbles overthinking one things and completely missing others. The Discussion serves to open our eyes and often to challenge our views, but most importantly to strengthen the collective knowledge of the community.
Paradox is a tricky game to understand. Its scale and place in the release order are misleading. You naturally tend to place it in the end of the timeline but when you start digging, when you go deep, when you start notice obscure clues you understand how wrong the easy answer was. It's not the end of the journey, it's actually the beginning, a prequel of sort.
I've seen many theorists who walked this path from the beginning to the end. We a relatively small community of enthusiasts formed the consensus about this game but for years it was inaccessible for many casual fans. But thanks to you guys who answered my call and liked my comment under Peacock's video, we've managed to push this consensus into masses.
I would also love to thank Peacock himself for not just taking an interest in our beloved series, for not just promoting it among broader audience, but also for his earnest analysis and research. I may disagree or not completely agree with many things he says and so may other theorists, but I'm very grateful that he didn't deliberately misrepresent the lore in pursuit of sensation and clickbait. And I'm grateful for his participation in The Discussion
I encourage you take part in It yourself and point out my mistakes in the comments. The Discussion must go on.
(and also thanks for the subs)

Here I posted a new video and it made me think. Maybe I should reconsider my priorities?
In short, I'm dissatisfied with my pace. I want to do big theory videos about old Rusty Lake games. I have to make RECAP and THEORY videos about NEW games. When I have time I still sometimes have to make RECAP videos about OLD games.
Postponing NEW RECAPS would increase performance of NEW THEORIES and make OLD THEORIES come out sooner. Abandoning ALL RECAPS would do that even better.
Do you even need RECAPS before THEORIES?
You can watch 2 already existing NEW RECAP+THEORIES bundles to test how they feel:

Hey guys! Need your help!
A month ago Flawed Peacock released his 1st long Rusty Lake video. As I tend to do, I write long comments to start a discussion.
That's a big guy, 90 times bigger than me and I'm afraid my essay will be lost among other 1500+ comments. Please help the lore discussion! *Like the comment following the link:*

(YouTube cuts the link short, try pasting the inactive part in the end so you don't have to browse for the comment)

!!!THE COMMUNITY NEEDS YOUR HELP!!!
Servant of the Lake is coming out this year! (if everything goes well) And this August (20 to 24) Rusty Lake are going to Gamescom in Cologne, Germany with a demo!
Whatever we see there would be useful for my Before You Play video about this game that I'll make closer to the release but with my currently unstable life I have no way going there.
Dear subscribers, if you are planning to be there, please contact me at nowherenest@gmail.com with "Gamecom" in the subject. I'm sure I'm not the only one who'll be sad to miss out.
And remember: question everything in Rusty Lake!

There's a new teaser in the Russian-speaking semi-official Rusty Lake's VK maintained by a translator. Nothing new on the official channels as of yet.

Not sure how this exclusivity is possible but this looks like Mr. Rabbit in Theatre alright. Guess, the mammoth is an April Fool's joke for the time being?

Rusty Lake are brewing something anniversary-related. Hashtag #RustyLake10 won't lie. It's not that big yet and I don't have much time to cover it so here you go. Still interesting though.
On another note, expect a new video tomorrow. Glad to be back on the original track albeit temporarily.
See y'all around!

I've been thinking... The recent video was relatively successful despite being long. My fear of longer videos comes from DDRL about Seasons' theories. Too much of stuff too complicated isn't good for learning and more so for entertainment.
Was it different this time because the video wasn't too complicated? Will it be fine if a game recap ends up 30 min? Since it's even less complicated...

"We enter 2025 ready to celebrate a decade of Rusty Lake and the show has only just started"
So yeah. Another small teaser that isn't enough for a entire video. This time, I'm sure it's something to do with their upcoming 10 year anniversary.
Everyone who's been here for long enough expects a free game. Just as they did 5 years ago with Samsara Room. But this time there's no old non-canon games they could remake and mold into the series and we have to expect something else.
Although Dale's finale would be a perfect present for the occasion (even if paid), looking at the image and the accompanying text we get other 2 associations right away:
1) Rusty Lake Theatre
2) Mr. Rabbit
And, as some of you are already commenting, yes, they absolutely do fit together by canon. So most likely we'll see a pre-Hotel era game about Mr. Rabbit. It's still possible that we'll get something post-Birthday, considering that Mr. Rabbit succeeded in the original timeline but I don't really expect it. I'd really love to see his life story because there definitely are things to show but let's not get our hopes too high.
The realistic thing to assume is that the game will be relatively small, maybe a bit bigger than Samsara Room and will solely center around the aforementioned show. What the show will be about? Honestly, no idea. Revisiting the most notable events of the series? Since it's an anniversary. In that case the game would be semi-canon like Samsara Room. Maybe even more so. I can accept it but would prefer not to.
Still excited about it. If we get more info, expect a video like on Christmas. And remember: question everything in Rusty Lake!
