Ubuntu released Steam as a Snap package with Fex-Emu for ARM Linux for testing. Not the smoothest experience on my octa-core A72 ARM chip with AMD Radeon RX-550.
It's easy to install (sudo snap install --candidate steam), but it needs some more work for better performance.

Running Yamagi Quake 2 on RISC-V (again), but this time with Vulkan on the SpacemiT K1. I forgot to apply the settings, so you will see it with OpenGL ES 3 first, and after that with Vulkan.

@justanotherdevopsguy suggested to test Quake 2 on RISC-V.
I had to fall back to SDL2 (instead of SDL3), but it plays really nice with OpenGL ES 3.

Asking for help to get games for testing them on ARM and RISC-V Linux. Even if you don't have the budget to help me, you can suggest games in the comments.

Running Stable-Diffusion-cpp on RISC-V. On my SpacemiT K1 octa-core RISC-V CPU, it takes more than an hour to generate an image with SD1.5 with 20 iterations.

Pop!_OS 24.04 also has images for ARM.
You can test it with ARM systems with UEFI.
I'm able to boot it on the Libre Computer Alta ARM SBC. It feels a bit sluggish and I think it needs some more optimisation.
I hope it will be better in 2026.

I already played Prince of Persia on RISC-V with the Batocera image for the VisionFive 2. If you want to play it on other RISC-V boards, you can build it from source.

Testing WebGPU on a SBC, the Radxa Dragon Q6A. It's not very fast, but it only needs around 10W total. It's good enough to start testing WebGPU.
