A couple of months ago I saw the news that Quetoo, a love letter to the Quake series, was released. It's available for ARM Linux, but you do need a capable GPU. I can't even get 60fps with the lowest settings on my Radxa Dragon Q6A Snapdragon QCS6490 SBC.

DroidDeck brings the SteamOS experience to Android. I haven't tested the OS features (like installing other apps), but playing games works as expected. Dogwalk (Godot game) is a bit slow, but Tomb Raider is playable.

Testing an installation of Steam ARM Linux on a Raspberry Pi 5. Performance isn't even close to the RK3588. Perhaps things can be improved with some more tweaks.

BredOS has transitioned to Beryllium. It's an Arch based distro for ARM, RISC-V and even x86. Rockchip RK3588 boards need EDK2. I did a small test on a Raspberry Pi 4.

Found a different Steam ARM Linux client in the Armbian Forum. It has better controller support, but Mangohud wasn't working for me. But you can use Gallium HUD and Vulkan Overlay. Tomb Raider GOTY on a Rockchip RK3588 (with Mesa 26.2.3)!

Playing Tomb Raider GOTY with Steam ARM Beta, on a Radxa Dragon Q6A Snapdragon QCS6490 SBC running Fedora 45 Beta.
I wasn't expecting around 24fps at 1080p normal quality. Valve really has improved SBC gaming with Proton ARM64.

As Microsoft killed Windows Subsystem for Android, I'm testing MUMUPlayer. The Windows on ARM version is in Beta, but it looks promising. You can even use Vulkan. I had some stability issues. Not sure if they are caused by the crappy Windows Vulkan driver.

Testing Fedora 45 Beta on the Radxa Dragon Q6A Snapdragon SBC. Wifi and BT are not working out of the box, but this is usable as a desktop.
Had some issues building llama.cpp, but got it working.
Playing some games with Steam, ARMSX2 and RPCS3.

Managed to get Fedora 45 ARM Beta booting on the Radxa Dragon Q6A. I had to add some Linux kernel command line parameters.

A quick test of Fedora 45 Beta on the Raspberry Pi 4. I will also try to get Fedora working on more SBCs. You can use the raw image, to install directly on the raw image.
