I got the Radxa Cubie A7A SBC with 8GB RAM for just under €100. I expect the performance to be somewhere between a Raspberry Pi 4 and 5.

Testing ARMSX3 v0.5, PS3 emulator for Android on my Samsung Galaxy Flip 6, with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Perhaps I need to change more settings, but I think things will also improve with newer releases.

The developer of DuckStation does NOT support custom Linux builds. It is possible to build DuckStation on RISC-V. It looks like you do need vectors, and building the dependencies takes a long time. And one small fix in DuckStationDependencies.cmake.

Building and running SwanStation (DuckStation fork), PS1 emulation, on the SpacemiT K3 RISC-V SoC. You do need to make some small changes to build it.

As I had some graphical glitches with OpenArena on the SpacemiT K3 RISC-V SoC, I found a different engine: OmegA-engine.
There is no RISC-V support, but you can fix that in q_platform.h.
I had to run with Zink (OpenGL through Vulkan), so performance is not the best.

I have some issues getting Quake 3 to run on my RISC-V boards. It is possible to get OpenArena working on the SpacemiT K3, but I do see some graphical glitches running with OpenGL ES. I will try to get it working better on RISC-V.

Playing Metro 2033 Redux on the Radxa Dragon Q6A, Snapdragon QCS6490 ARM SBC. Performance with Luxtorpeda is similar to Proton ARM64.
Gameplay is mostly around 20-25 fps at 1080p.

Playing some Steam games with Luxtorpeda on ARM Linux.
Luxtorpeda will let you play some Steam games with a Linux engine. Shadow Warrior was slow on my Rockchip RK3588 SBC, but performance was a lot better with Luxtorpeda. Also tested Serious Sam.

Building and playing Duke Nukem 3D on RISC-V with EDuke32.
The iGPU of the SpacemiT K3 doesn't have good OpenGL support, so I run it with Zink (Vulkan). I tried the Voxel mod, but that has some small issues.
