I'm Dr. Badiee, a licensed counseling psychologist and professor who integrates clinical experience, psychological science, and multicultural perspectives with a liberation lens to challenge one-size-fits-all ideas about ourselves, our relationships, and what it means to live well.

Psychology doesn't happen in a vacuum. Neither do relationships.

Here, I examine how culture, identity, and structures of power shape our relationships and mental health while questioning pop-psychology advice that overlooks these influences. That means I center BIPOC, queer, neurodivergent, and nonmonogamous experiences often pushed to the margins.

Whether you're here to better understand yourself, your relationships, or the world that shaped you, my goal is to help you unlearn what doesn't serve you and build more authentic and liberated ways of connecting with yourself and others.
