John Welsh is the person behind Scoutthedoggie, a channel dedicated to airsoft.
Through Scoutthedoggie, I have recorded airsoft games & events at locations across the UK. My footage has captured large-scale games, woodland battles, CQB environments, base assaults, defensive scenarios, sniper gameplay & the people who have taken part in the sport over the years.
Going Public
For many years, I deliberately kept my personal identity separate from my online activities. This was a decision made to protect the privacy of my children until they were adults. After years of creating and preserving video, I now want my work to be associated with the person who actually made it happen. It is the story of one person's decades long interest in recording and preserving moments that mattered to me — and sharing those moments with everyone else.
