Silvano Pagliuca-Mena
Hey!
I am Silvano Antonio Pagliuca Mena, "Silv". I was born on May 10th of 1991 in Maracaibo, Venezuela, into an Italian-Spanish family of artists and intellectuals.
I'm a multi-instrumentalist musician who plays the piano, double bass, guitar, mandolin, and accordion. I'm a composer, arranger, producer, music editor, and educator, as well.
My music is eclectic, experimenting with several genres and styles of music which join with a very open aesthetic that merges Jazz, Contemporary Music, Classical European Music, Venezuelan and Latin-American Music, Flamenco, among others.
I have worked extensively as a music producer and as a live and studio session musician for several artists. In conjunction, I've been dedicated to play and compose actively for the music project that I lead together with my brother Angelo: Pagliuca-Mena ensemble.
Since 2018 I am exiled in Madrid, Spain.
