MakaFun is a holistic, multi-modal service that shares ideas and tips with others, whilst offering to deliver MakaFun sessions alongside Makaton training. We believe that communication and language skills can be developed by using a multi-modal approach, and have found that by using fun, objects of reference, props, visual aids, Makaton symbols and signs, speech, songs, stories and activities within MakaFun sessions, participants have engaged with and enjoyed the different differentiated activities. Participants have built on their own confidence in continuing to use their new skills/activities.
We are passionate about creating inclusive FUN based experiences and we also provide a range of licensed MAKAton Training sessions for parents, carers & professionals supporting Makaton Users.
