‘70’s rock icon Randy Z. returns to the music scene with his latest offering: “Drill Baby Drill”, a meaningful musical collaboration with many of LA’s top musicians, producers and lyricist’s helping out.
Randy Z. was also a producer for Electric Ladyland studios back in the ‘70’s. He describes his music as “song-pictures”. He has an elaborate style of playing that you only hear from the very best guitar players today. As a songwriter, Randy likes to tell stories. Each of his compositions are unique and deserve to be listened to by the most discerning critics.

Randy Z. is back with the “Collateral Damage Band”, a rockin’-sockin’ lovefest for rock and roll enthusiasts. One minute into “Drill Baby Drill” and you will be up on your feet and dancing your ass off! This song sounds like it could have been a “Wolfgang” song from 1970, but truly, this is what you would expect from Randy Z. today: a hard rockin’ riff heavy groove. He plays wicked good guitar and sings from the heart and soul.
