Ma'an Folklore arts Band
A band with a well-known reputation worldwide, originated from the city of Ma'an in the south of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The band was established in 1981 and since then it took the responsibility of representing the folklore artistic dances known as "Dabka" and the traditional songs and showing it to the world, as it participated in many festivals and events from all around the world, in Asia, Africa and Europe, where it was honored with many prizes and honorary certificates.
The clothes used by the band are traditional Arabic clothing, which was wore by the brave Arabian knights. The musical instruments the band uses to deliver the traditional Folkloric songs are basically: the lute, modified version of the flute called "Shababa" , the bagpipes and the drums.
