यो पोस्ट गर्ने पेजलाई म उल्लेख गर्न चाहँदिन नत्र व्यक्तिगत आक्षेप गरेको जस्तो हुनेछ (personal attack aka ad hominem) । तर अब यो पोस्ट व्यङ्ग्य हो या साँच्चिकै यस्तै भन्न खोजेको हो त्यो म जान्दिन । कता कता मलाई लागेर आयो कि कतै विज्ञान प्रतिको औधी चासोले हामी मानिसलाई सामाजिक प्राणी, भावनात्मक प्राणी हुन बाट रोकेको त छैन होला ? के यस्तै पोस्ट कोहि निधन हुँदा मृत्यु केवल यस्तो मात्रै हो भनेर वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण कसैले दिन सक्ला उसोभए??

हो, एक वर्षको खगोलीय अर्थ सबैलाई थाहा छ! तर हामी एक वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण लिएर हर्ष मनाइराखेका छैनौँ । एक सामाजिक र अध्यात्मिक प्राणीको नाताले हामी हर्ष-खुशी मनाउँछौँ । हाम्रो आज सम्मको यात्रा, योगदान, प्रगति, सुधार, सपनाहरू, भविष्यका योजनाहरू, यो जिन्दगीको लागि धन्यवादी हुन र सुखदुःख मा एक-अर्कालाई सहारा दिन, रमाउन, हौसला दिन, आशा दिन र यस्तै थुप्रै कारणले एक सामाजिक प्राणीको हैसियतमा हामी नयाँ वर्ष मनाउँछौँ । नयाँ वर्ष आउँदैमा सबै नयाँ हुँदैन भन्ने कुराको हेक्का सबैलाई हुन्छ । तर पनि हामीले यस्तो अतिवाद सोच पालेर बस्दैनौँ । एक साधारण व्यक्तिलाई सूर्य उदाउँदैन र अस्ताउँदैन भन्ने वैज्ञानिक सत्य थाहा हुन्छ र पनि यी कुरा उसलाई दैनिक जीवन कार्यका लागि एकदमै महत्त्वपूर्ण हुन्छ । समय सापेक्ष हुँदछ तर पनि हाम्रो जीवनमा समयको ठूलो महत्त्व हुँदछ ।

मलाई डर लाग्छ कि कतै विज्ञान प्रति औधी चासोले मानिसलाई अव्यवहारिक बनाइदिने त होइन ? यस बारे गहन रूपमा सोच्न जरुरी छ । विशेषगरी हामी ख्रीष्टियानहरूले पनि ! धेरै पल्ट बाइबल-विज्ञान विषय लिएर बहस चलिरहेको हुन्छ ! यसै यात्रामा हामी महा मूर्ख बन्दै जान्छौं अनि! याद राखौं कि परमेश्वरले हामीलाई एक सामाजिक, भावनात्मक र अध्यात्मिक चिन्तन गर्न सक्षम प्राणीको रूपमा सृष्टि गर्नुभयो । विज्ञानका कुराले हामीलाई एक अतिवादी तहमा नपुर्याओस!

Our devotion and worship aren't independent of our theology. Theology is our understanding of God and how we relate everything of our life and this world with him. Our theology comes from the scripture. Devotion and worship is our submission and dedication to the Lord, having a fellowship with him and giving him the glory he deserves from our life style. This relies on our understanding of God which comes from the scripture.

This post has been found circulated in facebook. Many Christians are sharing it thinking Jesus has been elevated or praised and every mouths have confessed his name. Meanwhile, just embracing Jesus is not the case that they are having high honour of him. The world admire him in some ways but not in a way Father wants.

Jesus once asked his disciples who do people say he is and again he asks them who they think he is. Here, Jesus is asking their personal opinion. The world can have any views regarding Jesus and we can find them throughout social medias. However, we must be sure, not all of them are truly acknowledging Jesus.

To acknowledge Jesus is to follow him, love him, obey him, carry the cross, and doing will of Father. We should not hurry to share anything like such post just because they are admiring Jesus unless we ensure how they view Jesus!
