Hailing from Inglewood, THURZ creates hip hop music with fabric covering all the facets of the young, black Los Angeles experience with threads from Belize and West Africa, and a tailor-fit touch to literally keep the house party going. With expertise in event curation, Thurz created the Nation's number 1 traveling hip hop music house party concert series, Party In My Living Room, powered by your local, neighborhood art dealers. The party series was launched as a late celebration of his Designer EP and took place in February of 2015 in his hometown, Inglewood, CA. Not knowing what type of response to expect, over 500 attendees arrived at the house party where Thurz set up his band, sound engineer and DJ all in a living room with a few artist friends to help set the vibe.

Episode 1 sets the stage with Thurz’s return to his parents’ hometown, exploring the contrast between the difficult conditions they grew up in—dirt floors, candles for light—and the new home they’ve built as a symbol of the Belizean Dream.

I am super proud of this short film / music video. I sent the final version of the recorded song to my bro BLESS E$CRO and he was able to visualize and write an incredible script. I produced and he wrote and directed. We got more great projects in queue, but press play on Outside and tell a friend about it 🙏🏾
