My name is Chad Sander, DO. I am a former attending Army psychiatrist (think Sidney on M*A*S*H*), ex-anesthesia resident, writer/amateur astronomer/mycologist/photographer/open mic'er, who, with the help of a village, raised three, relatively well-adjusted children into adulthood and released them to the wild.

I plan to offer insights tempered with medical knowledge (not medical advice) into topics I find interesting and I hope you may as well. I am no longer a traditional practicing physician and no longer seeing patients. I am a sapiosexual who loves great conversation and new ideas based in science and reality. I am on my own very enjoyable journey and I would be grateful if some of the intended content of this site instills just a modicum of the sense of wonder in the world that so fully illustrates and animates our individual simulations and so deeply inspires mine!
