For well over a decade Thollem and ACVilla’s collaborations have resulted in many different projects, including multimedia experiences as well as documentaries of artists engaged in their communities. Organizations within which the duo have participated range from public and private schools to universities, from museums and film societies to DIY spaces and community centers throughout N. America and Europe.
Thollem/ACVilla has been presented by: Northwest Film Forum, Hallwalls, Crystal Bridges, Krannert Art Museum, Vision Festival, University of Santa Barbara, Works/San José, Yosemite Art Museum, Harwood Museum, Erie Art Museum, Crocker Art Museum, Guild Cinema (Abq), Icebox Project Space, SITE Santa Fe, Curva Minore (Palermo), Il Centro d’Arte dell’Università di Padova, Infrasuoni l’Asilo (Napoli), AngelicA (Bologna), and Metronome Festival (Dublin), among others throughout North America and Europe.
