Education and Employers is an independent UK-based charity. We want our young people to become excited by learning and their potential, to see what is possible, and to make informed decisions about their futures. We work with state schools, employers, the national bodies that represent them and a wide range of other partners including the government and third sector organisations, and researchers across the world.
Our activities include:
- Research: exploring the impact of employer engagement in schools on young people and the economy, our research informs education policy & practice and drives our activities.
- Inspiring the Future: a free service connecting state schools and colleges with volunteers from the world of work, who share their jobs and career stories.
- Inspiring Governance: a free governor recruitment service funded by the Department for Education, which aims to get highly skilled volunteers to serve as governors in some of the most disadvantaged schools in England.
