R.I.P. Eddie Jordan (1948-2025)
Legendary Formula 1 team owner, Eddie Jordan, has lost his battle with cancer. Known for his eye for spotting talent, his ability to put deals together, and his irrepressible nature, Jordan was one of the last old-school privateers in F1. Between 1991 and 2005, he launched the careers of several F1 drivers, the most prominent of them being Michael Schumacher. While the Jordan team might not have been at the pointy end of the grid too often, they did have three Formula 1 victories to their name – the first courtesy of Damon Hill at the 1998 Belgian Grand Prix, followed by two wins for Heinz-Harald Frentzen in 1999. While Eddie Jordan sold his race team in 2005, he continued to be part of the paddock, as a commentator and F1 pundit. The sport will miss his presence.

Fifth place at the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix was enough to secure Max Verstappen his fourth Formula 1 world championship title, allowing him to join the ranks of Sebastian Vettel, Alain Prost, Juan Manuel Fangio, Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher (all of whom have four or more F1 titles to their name). Which four-time F1 title holder do you think is the greatest and why? Let us know in the comments!

Max Verstappen took his 62nd F1 career win at the 2024 Brazilian Grand Prix, going from 17th on the grid to 1st. Some are calling his performance at a rain-soaked Interlagos his finest victory yet. Do you agree? And who do you think has delivered F1's best ever victory in the rain?

The Red Bull RB 17 Hypercar has been unveiled at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Adrian Newey-designed machine boasts a 1200 hp mid-mounted V-10 hybrid powertrain and can hit a top speed of 350 km/h. Merely 50 units of the twin-seater car will be built. This is to be aerodynamics-genius Newey's last significant project before he departs the Red Bull team at the beginning of 2025.

Seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton ended his winless spell with a fine victory at the 2024 British Grand Prix at Silverstone. The British driver, whose last race win was at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in December 2021, has gone 945 days without winning a race. It was a record ninth victory at his home grand prix for Hamilton, with no other driver having scored more wins at a single circuit. The Mercedes driver now has a total of 104 F1 victories to his name, 13 more than previous record-holder Michael Schumacher, who won 91 Grands Prix. Do you think Hamilton has it in him to win a title with the Ferrari team who he joins next year?
