Dr Goyal is a board-certified surgeon. He graduated from K. S. Hedge Medical College, Mangalore in 2011. He pursued his post-graduation from well renowned B. P. Koirala institute of health science, Dharan and was awarded Master Degree(MS) in orthopaedic surgery. He further underwent his surgical training at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Newdelhi.

Dr Goyal was awarded the Global citizen Scholarship (UK) for MCh(Ortho) course. He worked at Internationally renowned Ninewells hospital and Medical School, NHS Tayside, Scotland, UK. He was awarded MCh in Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery, accredited by the Royal College Of Surgeons (RCS), England - United Kingdom. He worked with experts across multiple centres in the UK at
